Presentation Guidelines

Authors should prepare their presentations as follows. Please double-check your presentation type and date/time in the program.

Note: Internet connection is available throughout the conference area via WiFi network.

Oral Presentations

The presentation room is equipped with a PC projector with a D-sub15 analog and a DVI-D digital display connectors, and with an audio system with a Stereo Mini-Jack connector. Since we will not provide a PC, please bring your own laptop PC for the presentation. We recommend you to check if your PC works with the projector and the speakers prior to the presentation during breaks.

Each presentation is allotted 30 minutes including questions and answers. So, please prepare your presentation so that it should conclude in less than 25 minutes.

Poster Presentations / Demonstrations

Poster and demo space is available from the morning of Wednesday, January 9 to the evening of Thursday, January 10. Please prepare your poster/demo at least before the beginning of Poster Session 1 on January 9 (14:00), and remove it after Poster Session 2 on January 10 (15:30).
Each poster presentation is allocated to a core session; either Poster Session 1 on January 9 (14:00-16:00), or Poster Session 2 on January 10 (13:30-15:30), where the presenter(s) should be ready in front of the poster for explanation.

Each poster and demo presentation is provided with a panel to put a poster (90cm wide and 210cm high). We will provide pins to put your poster on the panel. Note that plastic tapes cannot be used, so be aware of that when using special materials for your poster.
In addition, each demo (you need to have applied for it beforehand) is provided with a desk and four type-A (American) power outlets (100V, 500W in total).

If you require special assitance or arrangements for your presentation, please let us know well in advance.
