1. INTRODUCTION
'NTCIR-10 PatentMT Chinese-English Subtask Dataset' is available only for the participants of the Chinese-English Subtask
of NTCIR-10 PatentMT Task for the purposes of the NTCIR Workshop.
The Dataset includes:
- English-Chinese parallel training data
- English-Chinese parallel development data
- Test data in Chinese
The dataset will be provided to you by the the Hong Kong Institute of Education
(HKIED) via internet server for download.
This is only a portion of the data for the NTCIR-10 PatentMT Chinese-English
Subtask. The rest of the data can be obtained directly from NTCIR after
filling out and sending the two forms below.
2. HOW TO OBTAIN THE DATA

A. Sign the License Agreement:
(1) Register to participate in the Chinese-English Subtask of PatentMT
at NTCIR-10.
The HKIED will grant the license to the registered participants.
(2) Download the HKIED's "NTCIR-10 PatentMT Chinese-English Subtask Dataset End-User Agreement"
(3) Complete and sign the agreement.
(4) Scan and email a signed agreement to the the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIED).

3. SCOPE OF THE LICENSE
USER shall use the Dataset solely for the purpose of accomplishing tasks
set out in the NTCIR Workshop and for the purpose of research related to
the tasks until and inclusive of the last day of March 2014, the end of
the term of NTCIR-10 Workshop.
This License is valid until March 31, 2014. The License shall not be extended
to another fiscal year, unless a written request is made by USER more than
one month before the expiration date of the Memorandum.
