Travel Support Program

Travel support is available for Overseas Active Participants.
Please read the following information and apply as soon as possible.
We are looking forward to seeing you at NTCIR-4 Meeting in Tokyo!

The travel support program provides for OVERSEAS PARTICIPANTS

• a round-trip economy class flight ticket (You will arrive at Tokyo on 31 May or 1 June 2004 and leave Tokyo on 5 June 2004)

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE PROGRAM?

• you must be a member of an active participating group that submitted the results.
• you must present a material at the workshop meeting either as an oral presentation or as a digital poster
• you are not receiving any other funding to attend the meeting
• you are the only applicant to the program from your group
• you are from non-profit organization

IMPORTANT DATES:

15 April 2004: Application deadline. (15th Japan time)
26 April 2004: Notification of approval

When your application will be approved, our contracted travel agency in your country will contact you and will arrange an air ticket for you. Any airline company is acceptable as far as the route is reasonable. The ticket will be sent to you from the agency and the invoice will be sent to NII. You do not have to pay for the ticket. Please do not buy the ticket by yourself.
