                      Results of the formal Run
                         Evaluation Subtask
                    NTCIR-8 Patent Translation Task


1. All numbers of correlation coefficient in the file 'ntc8patmt-EVAL-fmlrun-result.xls'
   are absolute values.
2. Correlation coefficients of the columns denoted by 'system1' - 'system12' were
   computed using scores (#scores/system is 100) of each MT system.
3. Each number of the column denoted by 'Avg.' is a mean value of above twelve systems's
   correlation coefficient values.
4. Correlation coefficients of the column denoted by 'All' were computed using
   all scores (#scores is 1,200) of twelve MT systems.
