OOF 2.0 Beta Version Released

The beta version of 2.0 is now available for download. The major update is the inclusion of image annotation, allowing regions of images to be annotated and saved in SVG notation. Documentation support will follow soon. Various minor bugs have been fixed on version 1.2 -see Changes

OOF 1.2 Update Released

Version 1.2 is now released as an executable for Windows platforms under the Gnu Public License (GPL). Various bugs have been fixed on version 1.1 -see Changes

Major features include a fully functional ontology editor, text annotation of technical terms or regions according to ontology classes, automatic calculation of linkage attributes as XPointer, export to RDF (ontologies and annotations) or in-line XML (annotations only) as well as annotation of coreference identity relations. Download the zip file, decompress it and then double click on the Setup icon. Installation will take place automatically after you accept the license agreement. You can find OOF under your Windows start menu.
