Deadline of application for presentation was extended to May 6.

IPSJ/SIGFI* will host an NTCIR Special Session at the SIGFI 
meeting on July 24-25, 2001. Either English or Japanese 
presentations are acceptable. Your contribution is strongly 
expected.  Register NOW!

* NTCIR Special Session is planned in the meeting.

* Overview of the NTCIR will be provided in the special session, so 
  that each presentation using the NTCIR Collections can
  concentrate on their original contribution without explaining
  the background knowledge regarding NTCIR.

* Good qualitied papers will be recomended to be published in 
  the Special Issue on "Information Retrieval and Summarization"
  of the "IPSJ Transaction on Databased (ToD)", Vol. 13. 
  Again either Japanese and English will be acceptable. 
  Please specify "ToD" in the application if you wish to be 
  recomended to be published in ToD

NTCIR成果報告会と4月18日にMLでご案内いたしましたように、
情報処理学会情報学基礎研究会で、下記のように、NTCIR特別
セッションが企画されています。日本語での発表ができます　
(英語も可）。3月の成果報告会では、口頭発表の時間を充分に
とることができませんでした。その後のupdate等も含め、
どうぞ、この機会に奮って、ご参加ください！
