A Way of Making A Cool Workstation
Mechanical noise from workstation is irritating.
Main sources of the noise are hard disk drive and cooling fans.
The noise can be reduced by replacing them with silent ones.
1) Hard disk drive
2.5" hard disk drive is preferable.
It also needs a connector adaptor and a mounting bracket.
2) Cooling fans
Silent cooling fans are available at some shops.
The noise will disappear by altering driving voltage of the fans.
WARNING
The modification makes your workstation unstable.
Small hard disk drive is slow.
Insufficent thermal regulation will break your workstation.
All alternations must be tried at your own risk.
