NTCIR-7 Meeting
Instructions for Digital Poster

We organize digital poster sessions, in which you can choose your presentation style freely.
Every style is welcomed -- a demonstration of your software, slides or movies, a combination of a demonstration and an ordinary paper poster, or a paper poster only.
Every NTCIR-7 active task participant has to make a presentation at digital poster session irrespective of oral presentation. If you are participating more than one task, please prepare one presentation for each task.

Instructions for Digital Poster Presentations are as follow. Please read them carefully. Every active participant needs to submit a form to ntc-poster by Nov 15 Oct 31, 2008.

1. Digital Poster Session
We have two sessions of the Digital Poster, which are held in Conference Room on the 2nd floor. You are requested to assign a presenter to be present next to the poster during the following session time for questions and discussion.

Lunch time, Wednesday, Dec.17 (DAY-2): CCLQA, PATMN, EVIA
Lunch time, Thursday, Dec.18 (DAY-3): IR4QA, PATMT
Lunch time, Friday, Dec.19 (DAY-4): MOAT, MuST
2. Set up & Tear down
Please print out your poster in advance and bring it.

You can prepare your presentation in the morning (9:00-12:00) of the day
of your presentation in Conference Room.

You are supposed to complete clearing up your posters by the following time:
Dec.17 (DAY-2): CCLQA, PATMN, EVIA: by 18:30
Dec.18 (DAY-3): IR4QA, PATMT:by 18:30
Dec.19 (DAY-4): MOAT, MuST: by 17:00

As Conference Room is open throughout the meeting, you can clean up your
presentation freely.

3. Spaces
A poster board with a poster number will be provided for each presentation. The number of your board is task name (e.g. MOAT) concatenated with participant number (e.g. 1).
Please print out a poster of the appropriate size for the board in advance and bring it.
board:width 90cm x height 190cm
table: width 90cm x depth 60cm x height 70cm
(You can use a table if you have made a request in advance.)

Posters can be displayed on the board using pushpins only. No tape or glue can be used. Pins will be provided.
4. Demonstration
Demonstration with personal computers is welcomed. If you plan to make such a demonstration and/or any kind of special exhibition, please let us know the following by the form in section 6 and send it to ntc-poster.

* Wireless Internet access will be available at the demonstration site.
5. Others
  1. Any questions or requests that are not included in the Request Form, shall be sent directly to ntc-poster.
  2. Poster allocation and wireless LAN access information will be announced on the workshop web site later.
6. Digital Poster Session Request Form
If a group is going to present more than one poster, the requests should be specified for each poster.

7. In Advance Shipment
