Since its establishment in 2007, the Echizen Laboratory has been working on a wide range of research fields from basic theory to applied systems, while focusing on the integrated area of multimedia and information security, that of multimedia and privacy protection. We have a lot of research projects (see example topics and CREST FakeMedia project) and have received many researchers and students.
We are recruiting graduate students via the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, and the Department of Informatics, the Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI). We can also receive internship students and researchers from institutions where NII has a “Memorandum of Understanding” (MoU) agreement. Please check the list of MoU partner institutions first.
