NTCIR-7 Meeting Registration

Welcome to NTCIR-7 Meeting and EVIA

Anybody who are interested in the researches and development in IR and other information access technologies and their evaluation are welcome to join NTCIR-7 Meeting and EVIA regardless of participation of the evaluation task(s) set by the NTCIR-7.

There are no differences between the task participants and non-task delegates regarding the fee and the materials that you will receive at the conference. We welcome non-task delegates to join the conference and discussion.

Online Registration

Online registration is available here. The payment is by Credit Card or in Cash.

*Only in the case that the payment by a credit card and cash is not acceptable by your organization, the bank transfer is available.
Please consult the NTCIR Project Office at ntc-secretariat .

On-site Registration

On-site registration is available. But please notice that the payment shall be in cash only at on-site.

* All the registration categories include access to all the sessions in the meeting (both EVIA and NTCIR-7 Meeting), access to online proceedings, three light refreshments for breakfast (Dec 17-19) and coffee (Dec 16-19).
* Full registration includes one copy of the printed proceedings with an NTCIR-7 conference bag, a CD-ROM evaluation results), a banquet ticket (Dec 18), three lunches (Dec 17-19).
* Student (with proceedings) registration includes one copy of the printed proceedings with an NTCIR-7 conference bag, a CD-ROM (evaluation results), three lunches (Dec 17-19).
* Students (with or without proceedings) who will join the banquet can purchase "Student banquet" tickets. "Student lunch" ticket is available for students (without proceedings) who will have conference lunch. Pre-registration is required for these tickets.
* Online proceedings will be available for free from Dec. 16, 2008.

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation, written notification should be sent to the NTCIR Registration Office by November 15.
Refunds will be made according to the following guidelines.

Until November 15, 2008: 100% refund of registration fees
From November 16, 2008: No refund

Student ID

Student registraion (either with or without proceedings) requires a valid student ID. Please bring your student ID with you at the conference venue. Without student ID, you may be requested to re-registere as "full registration".
