We organize digital poster sessions, in which you can show your works not only by ordinary paper posters but also by PC-based demonstration or presentation. Participation to the sessions is mandatory. Every active task participant has to make a presentation at digital poster session irrespective of oral presentation. If you are participating more than one task, please prepare one presentation for each task.

There are 2 types of poster presentators:
- NTCIR task participants who are required to present posters (all groups).
- MuST task participants who would like to present posters (optional).
- EVIA pre-workshop presenters who would like to present posters (optional).

Instructions for Digital Poster Presentations are as follow. Please read them carefully. Every active participant needs to submit a form to ntcir6 by 27 April 2007.

1. Digital Poster Session

We have two sessions of the Digital Poster, both are held in Conference Room on the 2nd floor. You are requested to assign a presenter to be present next to the poster during the following session time for questions and discussion.

12:20-14:50, May 17 (Digital Poster Session 1)
12:40-15:10, May 18 (Digital Poster Session 2)

2. Set up & Tear down

You can prepare and clean up your presentation freely, as Conference Room is open throughout the meeting after the lunch time on May 16. You are supposed to complete clearing up your posters by 18:00, May 18.

And, please refrain from preparing/cleaning up in the following time.

16:00-20:00, May 16 (Preparing for and having a banquet)
9:00-9:30, 12:20-14:50, May 17 (Breakfast and Digital Poster Session 1)
9:00-9:30, 12:40-15:10, May 18 (Breakfast and Digital Poster Session 2)

3. Spaces

A poster board (width 90cm x height 140cm) with a poster number will be provided for each presentation. The number of your board is task name (e.g. CLIR) concatenated with participant number (e.g. 1). Posters can be displayed on the board using pushpins only. No tape or glue can be used. Pins will be provided.

4. Demonstration

Demonstration with personal computers is welcomed. If you plan to make such a demonstration and/or any kind of special exhibition, please let us know the following by the form in section 7 and send it to ntcir6.

* Wireless Internet access will be available at the demonstration site.

5. Boasting

Anyone who want to boast their posters can join the boasting session (short presentation, 1 minute for each), in which the authors can show their main achievements and unique aspects, then invite the audience to their digital posters. It is not compulsory, but we wish many participants join it. The schedule for boasting is as follows.

12:40-13:00, May 17 (Boasting for digital posters: CLQA, PATENT, QAC)
12:40-13:00, May 18 (Boasting for digital posters: CLIR, OPINION, MuST)

*Presentation material for boasting: one sheet or transparency for the Over Head only.

6. Others

1. Any questions or requests that are not included in the Request Form, shall be sent directly to ntcir6
   
2. Poster allocation and LAN equipment will be announced on the workshop web site later.

8. In Advance Shipment
