Travel support is available for Overseas Active Participants. Please read
the following information and apply. We are looking forward to see you
at NTCIR-6 Meeting in Tokyo!
Application of Travel support is closed as of
5 April 2007.
TRAVEL SUPPORT PROGRAM reimburses:
- Fee for a round-trip economy class flight ticket. (You will arrive Tokyo
on 13 or 14 May and leave Tokyo on 19 or 20 May 2007)
- Please arrange and purchase a flight ticket by yourself, and then apply
for travel support with photocopies of the receipt and the ticket.
- Please retain the original copy of the receipt and the boarding pass
stub for reimbursement.
- Extended stays for sightseeing or stopovers on the way are not approved.
If you have any problem with your itinerary, please consult
ntc-local
before purchase your ticket.
- Please search the least expensive ticket.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE PROGRAM?
- You must a member of an active task participating group that submitted
the results.
- You must present a material at the workshop meeting either as an oral presentation
or as a digital poster.
- You are from non-profit organization.
Precedence will be given to students and younger researchers.
In summary::
- Travel costs (basically fee for a round-trip discounted economy class
flight ticket) up to a reasonable limit will be reimbursed at the discretion
of the travel support committee. The committee has a list of estimated
ceilings on reimbursement from each region of the globe.
- Reimbursement is in CASH in Japanese Yen given out at the conference site.
- Please search for the LEAST EXPENSIVE flight, so that larger number of
applicants will be supported by this program.
- ECONOMY class only
- Funds are limited so we CAN NOT GUARANTEE full reimbursement of costs.
- Please prepare photocopies or PDF of receipt and ticket for the application
and retain the origianl copy of the receipt and the boarding pass stub
for reimbursement.
