Every active participant who conducted the task(s) set by the NTCIR Workshop 6
must write and submit a paper for the Proceedings of the 6th NTCIR Workshop
Meeting, regardless of attendance of the Workshop meeting. Please follow the
guideline on the web:
author guidelines.
Submission due: March 8, 2007
If you have any problems or questions about the electronic submission process
using the START system, please feel free to contact the appropriate task
organizer. (See sidebar at left for individual task links.)
What you submit:
(a) separate information sheet in the following form.

- Your postal address and E-mail address:
Note: All participants are expected to present posters including those
who are selected to present at oral session.
(b) copyright form (via postal mail) using the
form we provide for the Proceedings.
(c) 3 copies of hard copy version of the paper (via postal mail).

Hard copy is needed for camera-ready copy submission in April. After you submit electronically on March 1, the task organizers will
read them and provide some comments for enhancement or modification or
clarification if appropriate. After revision and enhancement based on those
comments, the final camera-ready copy must be submitted no later than April
15, 2007 both in electronic and hard copy. (Please understand this is really
firm deadline)
Where to submit:
We are using the START conference management system to track submissions for the conference. Please submit your paper using the NTCIR-6 START system.

Page limit:
No longer than 8 pages for one task ("task" means either of CLIR,
CLQA, PATENT, QAC, OPINION, or MuST).
Note:
(1) Manuscripts of task overview will be partially available by early February. Participants will be able to refer to the task overview in order to explain the task design or basic statistics in the paper. Please avoid describing redundantly such basic information in your paper.
(2) Papers in the Proceedings will be also published on the Web in the
form of PDF files.
NOTE: If you are also submitting a poster to
EVIA 2007 (The Pre-Meeting Workshop),
please make sure that the contents of your EVIA poster is different from that of your paper.

If you plan to use LaTeX for compiling the manuscript, please get the style
file named latex8.sty
for that. If you use 'latex8.sty', please adjust the margin settings, the same
as the sample tex source file. This is based on the NTCIR5 materials, so you may have to make some modifications (changing any "5"s to "6"s, for example.)
