Registration to the NTCIR-12 Conference

Online registration will close at midnight, May 27, Japan time.

*Only in the case that the payment by a credit card is not acceptable by your organization, the bank transfer is available. Please consult NTCIR Registration Office at: ntcir_reg@jtbcom.co.jp


On-site Registration: On and after May 28, online registration is not available. Please register at the conference venue on the days of the conference. But please notice that the payment shall be in cash only at on-site.

  • "Full Registration" includes access to all the sessions in the conference (both EVIA 2016 and NTCIR-12 Conference), a USB Proceedings of EVIA 2016 and NTCIR-12, a Banquet (June 9), 3 Lunches (June 8-10), coffee breaks (June 7-10), and access to the online proceedings*.
  • "Student (Full)" Registration includes access to all the sessions in the conference (both EVIA 2016 and NTCIR-12 Conference), a USB Proceedings of EVIA 2016 and NTCIR-12, a Banquet (June 9), 3 Lunches (June 8-10), coffee breaks (June7 -10), and access to the online proceedings.
  • "Student with Proceedings" includes access to all the sessions in the conference (both EVIA 2016 and NTCIR-12 Conference), a USB Proceedings of EVIA 2016 and NTCIR-12, coffee breaks (June 7-10), and access to the online proceedings. Please note that the banquet and lunches are not included. "Student Banquet Ticket" and "Student Lunch Ticket(s)" can purchase.
  • For the students from the coordinate organizations, special invitation is available. Students include the internship students who are currently working at the organizations. It is free of charge to join the conference and you can access to the online proceedings, but lunches, a banquet, and a USB Proceedings are not included.

* Online proceedings will be available for free from June 7, 2016. Wireless LAN is available at the conference venue.

Cancellation Policy

In the case of cancellation, written notification should be sent to the NTCIR Registration Office by May 7.
Refunds will be made according to the following guidelines.

Until May 7, 2016: 100% refund of registration fees
From May 7, 2016: No refund

Student ID

Student registration requires a valid student ID. Please bring your student ID with you at the conference venue. Without student ID, you may be requested to re-register as "Full registration".
