Problem: read research papers, guidelines, or survey reports. Make a brief summary and discuss the strengh, limitation, or any doubts in technical viewpoints and practical viewpoints. Your report is expected in 2-3 pages in the A4 format (PDF). Submit it to the email of the lecturer : f-ishikawa **at** nii.ac.jp
Examples of the target: it would be nice if you challenge the latest reserach papers from top conferences or journals or those with a high number of citations (e.g., by looking at Google Scholar. It is no problem to target old, conventional ones. The target is not limited to research papers but can be reports from governments or some agencies, standards, and so on.
