This database is Japanese version of "Wisconsin X-Ray Microbeam Database".
The data was collected between 1998 and 1999 using an X-ray microbeam system at the University of Wisconsin to observe the articulatory movements of the tongue, lower jaw, etc. during speech. The corpus includes audio data recorded simultaneously. The content of speech was Japanese words and short sentences (includes some English).
