Online Registration to the NTCIR-11 Conference

Online registration will close at midnight, December 2, Japan time.

*Only in the case that the payment by a credit card is not acceptable by
your organization, the bank transfer is available. Please consult NTCIR Registration Office at:

On-site Registration

On and after December 3, online pre-registration is not available. Please register at the conference venue on the days of the conference. But please notice that the payment shall be in cash only at on-site.

  • "Full(non-students)" includes access to all the sessions in the conference (both EVIA and NTCIR-11 Conference), access to the online proceedings*, a Banquet(Dec. 10), 3 Lunch(Dec. 10-12), coffee for all day long, and 3 morning light refreshment.
  • "Student" includes access to all the sessions in the conference (both EVIA and NTCIR-11 Conference), access to the online proceedings*, 3 Lunch(Dec. 10-12), coffee for all day long, 3 morning light refreshment. Please notice that the banquet is not included. You can purchase a banquet ticket for student.
  • "EVIA only" registration category includes access to the sessions in EVIA and coffee (Dec. 9).
  • For the students from the coordinate organizations**, special invitation is available. Students include the internship students who are currently working at the organizations. It is free of charge to join the conference and you can access to the online proceedings, but lunches and banquet are not included.

* Online proceedings will be available for free from December 9, 2014. It is also available to access at the conference venue by wireless LAN.
Proceedings will be available only online and no CD-ROM or USB media will be provided this year.

Please note for students needed VISA support:
When you apply your visa to Japan for attend NTCIR conference and if you need any document issued by our office, please register "Student" category and complete the payment.

Cancellation Policy

In the case of cancellation, written notification should be sent to the NTCIR Registration Office by Nov. 22.
Refunds will be made according to the following guidelines.

Until Nov. 22, 2014: 100% refund of registration fees
From Nov. 23, 2014: No refund

Student ID

Student registration (either full and free) requires a valid student ID. Please bring your student ID with you at the conference venue. Without student ID, you may be requested to re-register as "full registration".
