NTCIR-11 Conference

The NTCIR-11 Conference and the 6th International Workshop on Evaluating Information Access (EVIA 2014) will be held on December 9-12, 2014, at NII in Tokyo, Japan.

NTCIR-11 Conference and EVIA 2014 are open event and anyone who is interested in research areas related to NTCIR, such as Information Retrieval, Question Answering, Information Extraction, Text Mining and Data Engineering is welcome.

For the previous NTCIR Conference, NTCIR-10, held in June 2013, had a total of 243 attendees from 20 different countries contributed to discussion and exchanging the experiences with one another. Among them about half were researchers participated in the "task(s) -- shared experiment task(s)" set by NTCIR, and others contributed to fruitful discussion.

We are especially fortunate to have an distinguished Keynote speaker Susan T. Dumais, Microsoft Research. At the Conference, active information access (IA) researchers will get together again and share their experiences, and discuss the future plan and the roadmap for leveraging the IA research.

Please come and join the discussion!
